GID MAKES STRATEGIC INVESTMENT IN INDIAN REAL ESTATE MERCHANT BANK

Boston - (May 1, 2006) - GID Investment Advisers LLC (GID) has made a strategic equity investment in Beekman Helix India Partners LLC (BHIP), a newly formed merchant bank focused on the real estate industry in India. BHIP intends to acquire and manage a portfolio of equity, preferred equity and debt investments in Indian real estate and in companies active in the Indian real estate or structured finance industries. BHIP's headquarters office is located in Gurgaon, India, a suburb of New Delhi, where BHIP's President Manish Parwani resides. BHIP also maintains an office in McLean, Virginia staffed by its Chief Executive Officer Shekar Narasimhan.

GID intends for its BHIP investment to represent the first of several equity investments in the Indian real estate industry. GID plans to make subsequent investments in for-sale residential development projects located in India's major metropolitan areas, either as a joint venture partner of BHIP or by using BHIP as one of GID's key advisors.
